VIRTUAL TESTING
Testing is completed in the comfort of your own home or hotel room. All clients receive certified copies of their antigen test results to support their personal or professional plans. The visit will usually take 15-20 minutes depending on the COVID-19 testing kit being used.
**If you have tested positive with a home antigen test and your insurance provider requires confirmation of this result from an accredited facility, this booking type may be suitable for you**
COVID-19 ANTIGEN TESTS
Antigen tests detect specific proteins on the surface of the virus. They are a quick and useful screening tool as they provide rapid results. They are acceptable for supporting travel to many countries and onto a number of Cruise liners. They may be suitable for other workplace needs or events, or for insurance purposes. These tests are performed via a simple nasal swab and results can be obtained within 20 minutes.
1. Confirm your test kit and book your appointment via our online booking calendar
Collect an antigen test kit from Boundless Medical or use your own. We can certify Health Canada/FDA-approved test kits. If you aren't sure about your home kit, please contact us with the Test Kit you are hoping to use to ensure it can be validated.
Book online via our online calendar. At the time of booking, input your demographics. This will be used to create your test certification documentation. If you can't find a time that suits your schedule, please reach out by email and we'll do our best to assist you!
2. Prepare outstanding demographics
You will receive a reminder email with instructions one day before your test date. We are required to identify you from a valid piece of government-issued photo ID.
3. Test Kit Information
Whether you are using your own antigen test kit or one of ours, these must be sent at the time of booking to ensure your test meets the requirements for certification. Do NOT open your testing kit before your appointment.
4. Login for your appointment
Join your appointment using the link received in your booking and reminder emails. No software or downloads are required. You can log on using your smartphone, tablet or computer, though your device must have a camera. Please ensure you have good Wifi access.
You will arrive in a virtual waiting room. Our supervising technician will open your appointment when they are ready for you!
5. Complete the test
Our technician will talk you through how to complete the test. They will then observe you conduct the test on yourself.
The test kit must then be placed in front of the camera for 15-20 minutes to confirm the results.
While the test is running, you are welcome to turn your microphone off and continue about your day.
6. Test certification
Once completed, our technician will inform you of your results and send you the certification of your results via email. The results will come in a .pdf format which can be downloaded and printed if required.
